FCC Rouge lipstick in No.8

This is another nude  lipstick I bought . It is  from the  Fcc  or Farmasi cosmetics. These cosmetics are from Turkey . The cosmetics and skincare  are Halal. The rouge lipstick is  a moisturizing lipstick  with Macadamia oil. I bought this lipstick at  the Royal Pharma  pharmacy , at Bangi Gateway . The colour is nice
  The Farmasi  colours are said to be vibrant and pigmented especially their eyeshadow.  These cosmetics could  be found at  selected Parkson stores.   You can also buy them   online at Fashionvalet or Hishop among others  .   The price of this lipstick is   RM 35.90.

Mistine Egg mask

I was interested in this egg white mask from Mistine for some time now  . This is a product from Thailand. It is good for removing dead skin and to tighten the pores specifically.  I have used this mask only three times. Each time I used it , I will get red bumps.  None the less as I have said in my previous post that my pores are getting smaller. My pores near the bridge of my nose have disappeared. I am very happy. 

As for this mask , apart from the small bump . One or two each time , I think I can handle it. Perhaps I would use it only twice a month. Since I don't go out  everyday . I will leave it to that.   The price of this mask is RM 13.00. You can buy this mask at  shops  or kiosks  selling   local products  or from online. There is a shop near my house,  and another one  at Kg Sungai Penchala selling local skincare products  . In front of the Sambal Hijau restaurant.  So now ,I don't have to buy online.

De Wajah scrub

I have used this scrub for more than a month. It is  good. The vitamin C  content in  this   scrub is to smoothen and to  have a more radiant skin  .  I have bought this scrub along with the lipstick. I used this scrub twice a week.  So far I feel that my pores are getting smaller. I like most of De Wajah's products . I always go back to them .
  I have just finished the Cosmoderm vitamin E cream .  Nowadays , I started to use the tumeric and besan mask and the Aztec clay mask religiously .  Sometimes I would use another mask.   The price of this scrub RM 29.90. You can get De Wajah products at Jamu shops or kiosks and from online.

Cosmoderm Vitamin E cream

This is another good  product from Cosmoderm that I have tried. It is a vitamin E cream with rosehip oil. It is 1000 I.U . The cream is in a glass jar of 50 gram.  I used it at night mostly.  The dents on my face  are  getting smaller and I am happy with the results.  I did not have any major breakouts , just  a few bumps on my face.  There is only one bump at a time. So that is good compared to the big pimples I had a few months ago.  I bought Cosmoderm products at Guardian .

I have also used the Cosmoderm Tea Tree facial wash again and I also made an apple cider vinegar toner .  I add 10 ml of ACV with 40 ml of filtered water. I used that at night.  So far I am satisfied with this cream  . I don't know if I would change to another brand . We will see how it goes. The price of this vitamin E cream is RM 19.90.

De Wajah Moisturizing lipstick

When I went to SACC mall in Shah Alam  last two months I dropped by at the De Wajah Salon at PKNS  nearby .  I have used De Wajah products on and off for two years.  I decided to try their lipstick called the Berahi Asmara range  . It is a long lasting  and moisturizing  lipstick .  The colour  is peachy pink  and it is a colour one has to be used to. This is a nice nude colour . This lipstick does not dry my lips like some  lipsticks I have.

 De Wajah has  a  whole range of cosmetics, for the face , eyes and lips.   Maybe next time , I will try their blusher or their  face powder.  The price of this lipstick is RM 19.90.

Mustika Ratu Bayam Shampoo and Bilasan santan

Since I  have finished the Meera shampoo, I was off to find a replacement. I have  forgotten all  about Mustika Ratu . I have used their hair oil and hair tonic .So I found out that they have a good shampoo for hair loss. The Bayam  or spinach   shampoo.  This is my first Mustika Ratu  shampoo and I like it . After that  I bought their  conditioner named Bilasan santan or translated it  to coconut milk rinse. It is in a tube . The colour is yellow with a lime fragrance.  

 I really like this conditioner as it makes my hair soft and shiny.   After nearly 4  months of oiling my hair twice a week and using this shampoo and conditioner , my hair is soft and silky. There are  no  tangles.  My husband agrees with my opinion.  I have bought their Cem Ceman oil and tonic again..  The only product I did not buy yet is the Cem Ceman mask. I am satisfied with this Spinach shampoo and the Bilasan santan. Don't forget to oil your hair.

Bragg's Apple cider vinegar

I started to drink  apple cider vinegar  3 months ago. My right knee hurts when I move . So I decided to search for a remedy on Google. Then I decided to buy  the apple cider vinegar from  Bragg's with the 'mother '. Apple cider vinegar has been used since the Roman times. So , it has been around for a long time . 

There are a  lot of benefits of drinking apple cider. One of it is that  it  reduces the uric acid around the joints. After 3 months , I can perform my prayers without sitting down . It is still painful  though . I cannot sit properly  during the prayers for some time. 

Alhamdulillah.  It is also used for weight loss and acne. As for acne , since I drank the apple cider vinegar , I have only one  pimple. So it has helped  me a lot .  I take 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar  with 1 glass of warm water the first thing in the morning and before I go to sleep.  I also add raw honey . As for weight loss , my brother's sister in law has lost 8 kg by taking the apple cider vinegar . She does not eat rice at night .  So my brother is also taking this vinegar. I am  into my second bottle now .

Zam Zam Hair oil

This is the hair oil that my mother used when she was young.  It is also my first hair oil. Since I am not going to Jalan TAR  any time soon  , my father bought for me a bottle . It is an emerald coloured hair oil.  I used it along with the  Seramputhi oil. An red and  a green hair oil.  It has a nice fragrance though . A reader has asked about this oil a few months back. To my lovely reader , this hair oil has worked for me .

 It is not as strong as Jadayel but I like it. After I used it  about a month , there is a lot of hair growth near the bald spot. I am so happy . I will continue to use this hair oil  . This particular hair oil , has been around since 1947. It can also be used on the beard and eyebrows.    Apart from this herbal hair oil , the company also produced a  coconut  hair oil and Amla hair oil.The price  of this hair oil is  RM 4.50 . Gamat Shaari Cold powder

Before I bought the Bedak Sejuk Pattani , the sales asisstant of  Adinda Beauty shop  suggested  this cold powder. After I 've used it several times,  I had a few pimples. So I stopped using it . My mother used this powder at night for about  one month . She said that it tightens her face.  About a month ago when I had    two spots ,  I used this powder again.

 I used about 10 droplets and mix them  with water. The next morning , the pus on one  the pimples had dried. I kept using the powder   for  5 nights in a row  and  the pimples were gone. This cold powder or Bedak sejuk works for me. So now , I  alternate using  the cold powder that I have. This cold powder contains Gamat or the fabulous sea  cucumber which has wonderful recuperative properties. This  product is available at most Jamu kiosks , shops and  also online.  The price of this cold powder is RM 5.00.

Semparuthy Hair Oil

Since I suffer from hair loss, I have also  bought an oil. This is a hibiscus oil  which is produced here in Malaysia.  It is hibiscus extract in coconut oil with other herbs. I have used it for two months with satisfactory result.  It is red in colour and have quite a  pleasant smell. There is a Semparuthi hair shampoo, and another shampoo and oil  to blacken the  hair.  I oiled my hair twice a week  . So far it is good , I have a little bit left.  Since I haven't not go back to Jalan Masjid India these days , I'm not able to buy this oil. The price of this oil is RM 10.90.

Meera Hair shampoo

During the fasting month , I realised that I'm suffering from hair loss. Especially at the forehead , and the hair line is receding. Then my husband agreed to bring me  to Jalan Masjid India. That was the last week of Ramadan. I went to buy the Meera Hair shampoo which is actually herbal. I have used this shampoo sometime ago . That was when it has a cup in the jar. Nowadays , it is in a bottle . I bought the jar and one sachet. This is good, at first I use one tablespoon and then two tablespoons. I have read that oiling is good for the hair . I have bought another hair oil . A hibiscus hair oil. At first I wanted to buy a mustard oil and put it with hibiscus flower.

 I couldn't find any hibiscus tree around. The hibiscus flower or Bunga Raya is the national flower of Malaysia.  The shampoo and the sachet lasted for a  month.  Since I am not going to Jalan TAR  yet . I have bought another shampoo.   After two months , there are tiny hair growing on the nearly bald part of my head . Alhamdullillah.  The price of the shampoo is RM 5.90 while the sachet is RM 3.50. I bought it at the new Malliga store , just behind Mydin Jalan Masjid India.

Cosmoderm Tea tree Cleanser and toner

I was interested in the Cosmoderm tea tree range. I have used  the cleanser and toner. I bought the toner first. It stings at first, but  after that it went well. Since I was into  oil at the time , I did not buy their day and night moisturizer.  There is a clarifying mask from this range as well. I bought the cleanser a month later.  For  1 month or more I did not have any pimples. This is a good range. Sometimes Cosmoderm has promotions for their Vitamin E and Tea Tree range.  I like these products. The price of the cleanser is RM 15.90 while the clarifying toner is RM 19.90 . Life - Flo Pure Rosehip Seed oil

I have used this rosehip oil for two months. The price is low compared to the other rosehip oil available.  When I first used it , I had a big bump on my nose. After that I had  a few tiny  pimples. Nothing big and scary.  The scars on my face are still visible but not as deep as it were in March. The scar is getting flatter. 

I still cannot put  natural  oil around my eyes as the lines would get deeper. I got a few compliments from family members about my face. My husband commented that I looked darker.  The Lifeflo rosehip oil is in a 30 ml with added vitamin E . The rosehip variety used is the  Mosqeuta.
There is the Rose Canina and the Rose Rubigosa. I am not sure but there is the interchange use of Rose Masqueta  and Rose Rubigosa. I  like this rosehip oil.  My skin looks good with it.

With natural oil , it would take more than 3 months for things to take effect. I bought this rosehip oil from Lemongreen2u.com. The price of this oil is RM 32.90.

Melvita Rose Extraordinary water

This is another gift from my sister Yati when we went to the Melvita store at One Utama.  She also bought one for herself. This is a toner with  rose damask floral water, wild roses and hyaluronic acid.  I was looking  at  their beauty oils. The SA said , said that Borage oil is suitable for dry skin.  It seems that Nigella oil is good for oily skin. This toner smells very nice. I used to use alternate  this toner with the Neutrogena toner . The price of this toner is RM 88.00.

I am still using almond oil at day time and I have bought a Rosehip oil. I will review that in another post.  Melvita is a organic company from France. I am drawn to their beauty oils above all . I have thought of  buying Borage oil and adding this oil to the almond oil. Borage and almond is an old combination.

Neutrogena Fine Fairness lotion

My sister Nas bought  a few bottles of this lotion for her dermatologist back in Riyadh. Her dermatologist said that this lotion is the best  out there  .   She gave me  and my sisters one each  . I used this lotion everytime I go out at day time. It has spf 30. The lotion is supposed to lighten the pigmentation.  I am satisfied with this lotion .  The price of this lotion is RM 39.90. Nowadays,  I start  to use  the Aztec mask again. It has been lying in the box for some time. Sometimes I feel very lazy to apply mask.  The under eyeline is still there although I use Bio oil every night.  

Neutrogena Alcohol free toner

This is the third Neutrogena product I have used. I was looking for a gentle toner. I have chosen this toner because it is alcohol free. I am satisfied with it. This is my second bottle.  I have one or two tiny pimples this month. Two days ago,  I woke up with some rashes on my face , near my eye area. So , I used some tumeric and sandalwood powder.  Today I use the cold powder with tumeric powder.  The price of this toner is RM 15.90.

My sister Nas has gone back to Riyadh. My twin sisters have gone back to her hometown and a conference. My brother Taei is here with his family.

Cosmoderm Magic Exfoliant Gel

I had whiteheads sometime ago. I decided to try the exfoliant gel from Cosmoderm. It does help in eliminating most of the whiteheads. The gel is watery not thick. It is in a glass bottle. I have used half of it's content. I am happy with this gel.There are three range in this skincare. The tea tree,vitamin E and rosehip and the gentle series. The tea tree is for oily skin, the vitamin E range is for scars while the Gentle range is for dry,sensitive or mature skin.

D' Herbs Madu Propolis set

I have tried the Honey and Propolis set from D'Herbs in April. I bought their trial set. There is a soap , a toner and a  day or night moisurizer.  One  of the ingredient of the soap is  cinammon. This is a simple set for those who have pimples , pigmentation or scar. My mother became   a D'Herbs agent for the shop near my house. She likes to use their  hair cream and the collagen lipstick . Sometimes she would use their eye liner.

The soap is ok. The toner  is quite   strong . The cream is my favourite . It is quite sticky though. 

The trial set lasts for about three weeks. More if you use  a little bit of the cream. I think I would  try their skincare again sometime soon.

Bedak sejuk Petani

 It has been awhile since I have used these tiny rice droplets. At first I use it with rosewater . Sometimes I would use it with tumeric powder. I have also tried  using it with cinammon powder , but it stung  and my face got red one morning. I  have not used this traditional powder with lime juice. Since I have dents on my face , I decided to use something natural on my face  . There are many types of cold powder , the liquid one, the ones made of rice and another  made of  clay . The ones made with clay are used by women in the East Coast of  peninsular Malaysia.I have not used  that type before but now it is sold on line. I used the cold powder twice a week.   You need to use this powder for quite sometime to see the results. I like this brand of cold powder. I used about 5 to 7 droplets with water .

The price of this cold or cool powder is RM 5.00.

Biossentials Patchouli essential oil

I used to buy these essential oils  at the British India shop in One Utama  . They have a stand for the products. Last year I went to the British India shop in One Utama to find their products but the products were   not available. 

This year I found their products again at a salon next to SASA store at the IPC shopping centre   in  Mutiara Damansara. I was very happy to find these essential oils. Like meeting a long lost friend.
I chose patchouli essential  because of it's regenerative properties. It is also good for acne. The oil is also an  aphrodisiac and an antidepressant .  I have made a face oil with the Dogaci sweet  almond oil and the patchouli essential oil. I have used this concoction for two months. The dents are still visible. I have to do something about the dents. I think I will buy one or two more essential oils.Or maybe take some supplements. The price of  the Patchouli oil is RM 50.00.

Dogaci Almond oil

I have used almond oil  to make my own  face oil in the past. I stopped using almond oil because it was difficult for me to find the oil at a reasonable price. Nowadays it is easier to find carrier oil from online shops such as Natta Cosme and Lemongreen2u to name a few. Not forgetting that  one can also order from Iherb. Sweet almond oil has always been used to make creams and it is rich with vitamin E and A. I bought the Dogaci Almond oil at a shop named Eridani at the Mujahiddin mosque in Damansara Utama. Dogaci is a brand from Turkey. Other oils available from this brand are  nigella , apricot  and grapeseed .

I used the oil mostly  at night. I feel that my skin has improved. The dent on my skin is still there . The almond oil I bought is in a 50 ml glass bottle. Sometimes I would just slather the oil  on my face. As for breakouts, I still have one or two pimples a month.  If I were to use 4 to 5 drops of the oil  ,  the 50 ml almond oil would last a few months.  I cannot use almond oil around my eyes. My eyes would get puffy and the lines would be thick . The price of almond oil is RM 22.00

Bio Oil

In March  , I have dents on my face all of a sudden . I googled and found out that  there is situation called spontaneous scarring.
I have a small scar on my forehead and  on my cheeks.There are three dents on my face like pit scars. Yikes !!  I felt so unhappy and wondered how could this be. After searching for some options on the Net , I decided to buy Bio Oil famed for healing scars.
In the first month , I have found that my skin looked good. I used it around my eyes  and the eye  lines got softer . I have some milia near my eyes. I could handle that at the moment.

After a month I decided to buy almond oil  but I still use Bio Oil . I am into my second bottle and will repurchase one soon.  I like this oil .  I have also used this oil on my burnt scars .  The scar is fading and I have another one this month. 

As for the dents , they are not so deep now  . The price of the smallest Bio Oil is RM 32.95 . There are three sizes to choose from. Sometimes  they sell in packs of two.

Max Faxtor Lipfinity Lipcolour in 012 Almost Almond

My husband gave me this lipstick. The colour is in 012 in  Almost Almond. This is a nude colour. It comes in a duo , a lip colour  and a moisturizing balm to give shine .  The colour is nice . It is more brown . I would like to try some other colours . I still have   the Max Factor   stick foundation  . This product has been around for some time but I did not buy until now. 

Sendayu Tinggi Doll Skin Foundation

I liked this foundation eversince I saw it. It is in a cute pink pot. I  bought the foundation  a few months ago in Watson pharmacy. The  foundation is very soft and you need just a little bit of it for the whole face. The colour I chose for my self is Too Pretty.
 It is the darkest one of the three colours available.  . It is a foundation, sunblock and concealer all in one.This pot will last a long time like the Naturactor foundations I have. Most  of the time I only use this foundation without setting powder. The price of this foundation is RM 38.
My parents are in  Madinah now. My sister in law Min has birth to a  baby girl. Her name is Naila. So I have two nieces this year.  Raudhah and Naila .Both are lovely and cute .My parents will come back in June with Nas and her family. This year all  of  my siblings will be around for this Eid. Yipeee !!

L'oreal Revitalift Laser X3 eye cream

Since I have used the L'oreal X3 moisturizer , I bought the eye cream as well. After a lot of thought. It is easy to use the tip. I thought it to be  difficult . It is a good product. Nowadays I use other  oil and I seldom use this eye  cream. This year I have skipped using L'oreal moisturizer . For about four months I have used other products. This cream helps soften the eye lines but does not eliminate them. I am yet to find the magic eye line remover . Perhaps I will and perhaps I won't . The price of this eye cream is RM 54.90 and it  will be cheaper during sales.

Golden Horse Pearl Paste

I bought the  Golden Horse pearl paste again. I have used the brand  earlier last year  and the pearl paste was my favourite product.  I used it on an ugly pimple on my nose. The pimple has since dissapeared. Nowadays I have pimples perhaps  due to stress.  I have about five of those . I have used the pearl paste about a week. I would use the paste at night and  then   I would stick  the Nexcare patch on the near flattened pimples.Most of the pimples has flattened using the paste and the patches.
 The pearl  paste is thick and it will last quite some time. I called the Golden Horse office in Shah Alam. They could send the product  to me by mail. Their telephone no is  03 5510 3511 for those who are interested . The price of the pearl paste is RM 24.00.

Morhabshi oil

My cat Gebu came back one day with a limp. He was limping on his right paw. I was sad. Lately I was browsing through the middle east products and I came about the Morhabshi oil. Morhabshi means Myrrh and I was interested. I rang the agent and I got the oil at night . I massaged my cat's paw . After 4 days he was running again. I am so happy. This is a traditional oil made with olive, castor , sesame and myrhh oil.

Quranic verses were recited during the making of this oil.

 It is a great oil and I use it on my knees . It is especially good for burn. I had one when I was making Roti Jala . I put the oil on my little finger and it did not leave any mark. The price of this oil is RM 28.00 for a 60 ml bottle.

Nexcare Acne Patch

I got to know about the Nexcare acne patch last year. It has been around for quite awhile. So far I have used two boxes . I used the largest one which has 36 patches. These patches are good for small pimples, those which has pus but not large ones. It is especially good to use when  you have bumps .  I like the patches because of the results . When I have bumps , I apply it at  night and the next day the bumps will dissapear . The down part is that I tend to to use the patches quite often. Sometimes pimple creams would last longer than the patches . The price of the largest box is less than RM 12.00. There a few sizes to choose from.

Neutrogena Deep Clean foaming face wash

I have this cleanser for a few months . Since January to be exact.  I have asked for the Deep Clean cleanser but got this instead.It is a foaming cleanser . I have used this cleanser with other soap. I find that it does not do much  and then I kept it away. This month I tried using the cleanser again and then there were  bumps. It is not good to change cleansers all the time. I prefer  the Deep Clean facial cleanser more. So now I alternate between Jamu Ratu Malaya's Antheia soap and Sendayu Tinggi's Golden Herb soap .Both from the same company. I thought of going back to the Sebamed cleanser . The price of this cleanser is RM 27.90.

Secret Leaf Argan Oil

I tried the Secret Leaf argan oil two months ago. I have not used any argan oil before. Unfortunately for me, after I used all of the oil I had breakouts.  Perhaps I have used more than 4 drops on my face day and night  or perhaps argan oil is not suitable for my face. It is a pity because I thought of making a face oil with it  like I did with almond oil. I just could not put oil around my eye area . I always get rashes. Perhaps later , I would try this oil again.  The price of this oil is RM 75 for 15 ml. You can get this oil online and at most shops selling local products.

Palmer's Skin Success Fademilk

Since I still have dark marks on my right leg , I bought the Palmer's Skin Success  Fademilk. After two months the dark marks has faded. I have used their cocoa butter therapy  oil in the past . The product has 2% hydroquinine. I like this lotion. .It helps with the marks . I think I will buy another one soon. This lotion is available at most pharmacies.  The price of this lotion is  RM 39.90 . There is a cleanser from this line at the Caring pharmacy. I have not check that one out.
It is hot in Kuala Lumpur nowadays with water cuts  looming.  Have a nice day...

Himalaya Purifying Neem Scrub

I have also bought a new scrub from Himalaya. This is their neem scrub for normal to oily skin. Since I have used the neem mask before and I have neem powder around , I thought I'd try the neem scrub. The colour of this scrub is white with green particles. It has a nice smell and I used the scrub once a week. I find that it is a good scrub. It does it's job well. I used to steam my face but nowadays I feel lazy   to do so.The price of this scrub is RM 23.71 after discount.

Yesterday my parents and I went to visit Rafiq at his home  and to see his  baby girl . Last week we went  there as well  and then on Sunday ,we went to visit my brother Taei. My sister in law ,Ti has given birth a few weeks back. My niece name is Raudhah A.

Maybelline Hyper Sharp Liner

It was time to get a new eye  liner . Maybelline eyeliner is a felt tip eyeliner . There a few eyeliners from Maybelline to choose from. I have not tried their gel liner. The colour of this eyeliner is not very black at one stroke.  To get really dark  I use three strokes . It is nice eyeliner and it dries very fast. Nowadays my idea of makeup is a black eye liner and a scarlet lipstick. Rather scary but I have loved vermillion lipstick for 2 decades. I bought this eyeliner during sales for around RM 25.00 .

Hai-O Marine Essence beauty bar

A few months ago  I had some rashes on my forehead , I used a lot of things , soap , cream and calamine lotion but to no avail.  My mother suggested that I use the Marine essennce from Hai - O. At that time my mother was into the Premium  Beautiful lingerie set . So I decided to use it. It is a bright green soap made from bamboo salt, Pu erh tea exctract  , tea tree oil , aloe vera,liquorice extract among others . After about 2 days the rashes subside. The soap comes in three in a box. The price is RM 105.00. The soap is popular as it is always out of stock.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye cream

After I have used the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair , I thought of trying  the eye cream. I have used the eye cream for two months. At first when I used it , it made my eye line more prominent and I was quite upset. I thought of not using it at all, but then since it was expensive I went along and use it .  After about two weeks the lines got softer. Thank goodness. The eye cream is in a 15 ml pot. There is some left and it will last maybe a month or more. This is my most expensive eye cream to date. I am glad I tried it , the price of this eye cream is RM 210.00 at  an Estee Lauder counter.
