Maybelline The Magnum Volume Express Waterproof Mascara

There was a sale at Watson's  a few weeks ago . So I bought most things for the eyes. Maybelline was created for Mabel his sister  . Something made for love is always enduring . Like the love  for a sister. Love, all women want is  love .Amore .  This is a waterproof mascara you can use if you go out for one or two hours. 

Maybelline products are available at most pharmacies in Malaysia . The price is around RM 19.00 at Watson's.  Music brings back memories.It soothes the nerves. I  like George Puth's song Atttention and Why we don't talk anymore. I ,listen to it.These songs are nice music to my ears.Never mind the lyrics  . Perhaps he is talking about Selena Gomez. Holy cow.

Nafurra Honey Bee Multi Solution

The Sultan of Kedah has died at the age of 90 . I felt so sad .Long live the new Sultan of Kedah .  I remember once long time  ago two princes fought for a stupid girl. I really don't even want to to go into   the details . I know how to do my makeup  and sing from him  . It was an old love story that happened overseas a long time ago. Not in Malaysia really ?

I bought Nafurra Bee Venom about a few months ago. This is a product from Korea . The price is RM 78.00. There are bee venom cream  around but it is quite expensive. They have a beautiful red colour lipstick called the Flamingo red. Nafurra products are available at Vita care phamacies. Therre is a serum which i have not checked out.

I went to Watsons a few days ago. I bought some Loreal products their eye product and their new face mask  , Maybelline  Mascara , Ribena , Silky girl . Just to make the eyes pop . We just want to look our best for our husband . Ma Cherie . 

De Herbs Aura 7 Bunga skin series

This blog is for those who are on a budget . So I will search for some  good things for almost anyone. De Herbs is a well established brand . If you have to  know the founder is the son of Puan Rozita Ibrahim. The founder of Sendayu Tinggi. Another of my favourite brand .

We use floral bath for most things. We Malays would bath under the full moon to take out  the negative energy and bring back the aura .  I don't really understand the rituals .  De Herbs has came out with  the 7 flowers Aura  skin care series. This set is for those with acne prone face like mine. I used this set in a hospital. In the days that I used I have no pimples and I have a rosy complexion . When I came back I have a pimple or two but then they just dissapeared  . The  cream can be used day and night . The cleanser is pink and colour . I use  Chanteq Purnama Vitamin C toner. I am happy with this product . The price of these products is RM 55.00.

Today is our national day .Malaysia has gained independence 60 years ago.  The sea games has ended Some dreams came true. Next stop is Tokyo 2021.

 Some people wished to see what  it was like 200 years ago. Sometimes people just want to hear the sweet sound of their neighbours . Be it Tamil , Mandarin or Malay . People just want to hear the voices of the olden days .

Dr K's Ginger Soap

I am back again . Thank you to my good doctor ,my adorable husband  ,my dearest  family members , good friends old and new .  You know I have issues with scars . This time I chose Dr K's ginger soap . I have used two bars of  the  soap . I think I need to buy another bar soap . 

My sister Nas is on a long holiday . Let's go back to scars. Either you ignore it  and use makeup or you go for the  laser treatment . If you don't have the mooonies like so many students. You can use Dr K's ginger soap . He is a famous face surgeon from  Kelantan.

 He has vowed to give free facial as long as he lives . That is something not many cosmetologists are willing  to do .     He has other products like the almond cream  or the protein serum which costs   RM 100.  The scars on my right face is dissapearing it is still  there .  I will be patient about scars. Sometimes we  have to buy a certain black bag . I just cannot resist . It comes with a twist . Not the the double C but it is made in Italy . 

If you have pimples try the collagen soap . If you are patient you can look flawless . If you have the money by all  means have the laser. Like one  surgeon said , you have only  on face in this lifetime . Take good care of  it . Dr K's ginger soap is sold at RM 30. 00.

Trip to Cameron Highlands

About a month ago . My twin sisters gave me a treat to Cameron Highlands . We went to the Lake House at the Ringlet Tanah rata. The journey took 3 hours according to Google maps. We went with my sister's Honda. As usual my nephew who looks like Keanu Reeves started to open the radio especially Hotel California. Now in 2017 it's Descapito.

- My sister asked whether it was like Middlesex . Close enough. Our friendly Manager was very obliging and showed the straight path. I've wanted to try and sleep on an English four poster with winds howling in the air. So to all Malaysians and anyone come to Malaysia . This is party time . Even the pine -apple man is here. Tell him I am a man I have an Apple.  I am an Apple man ..... He he he

Blue Moon

I feel like I'm in a lunar moon again . It's the four blue moons together . With four festivals blend in a matter of days . I feel like it's yesterday that I sat in a similar marble top somewhere in time . And a smaller marble top table in the kitchen. It's like De javu all over again . 

To all my friends where ever you  are  we will see each other from time time . To all Muslim readers Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha and to sacrifice what is necessary for repentance. Rita Rudaini is one of the gorgeous Malay actresses around .  . Her skin is flawless and fair . She has come out with her own skincare ,perfume and lip colour line  called Gincu Gincu  . This lip colour is a matte liquid  lip colour named  Dangerous . This is a bright pink colour. It dries out to become a pinky powder colour . It is not for the faint hearted but it is a  good lip colour none the less  . 

Today is Aidil Fitri. My parents had gone out with my brothers Mal and Jiji  to  Kampung Baru . Other siblings will come for a  family gathering on the 28th of June next Wednesday . Yatie my sister  has came back from Dubai last Wednesday .  My sister Nas and family  will only come back in July.

Mustika Ratu Cucumber Cleansing Milk and toner

I have used nearly  all the variants of the cleansing milk and toner available from Mustika Ratu. In my thirties I used the rose cleansing duo for dry and sensitive skin. Later I used Sari Jeruk for problem skin . Now in my fifties I use the Cucumber duo for oily skin.  The cucumber cleansing milk is gentle with cucumber extract and vitamin E. This is my makeup remover at the moment.

 Then I bought the cucumber face toner in case I don't want to wash my face. It contains vitamin A,E,F to refresh and maintain moisture to the skin. I usually go back and forth to skin care I like in the past. I am careful not use products that are quite new and have much promises. I would try something from the pharmacy or the ones that has been around for some time ten years or more. I would get one two large pimples when I use new products. So I try new  pimple creams . Mustika Ratu products are available at Mydin, Sogo ,Wellness Pharmacies and at their spa in  Taman Shamelin Perkasa. They have a counter at one of the Jusco stores .
The price of the cleansing milk is about RM 12.60 and the toner is RM 11.00 . I bought these products at Wellness pharmacy which is under Aeon Jusco.

Citra Bengkoang Indonesia Hand and body lotion

I am glad I can find Citra hand and body lotion at Guardian. I have used this lotion for  a long time . Last time it has a brown top and it was  in a smaller bottle  . Usually when there is  a sale I can buy two lotion at once

Bengkoang or Sengkuang which is called in  Malaysia is well known for it's  whitening properties. This  lotion is   in a 400 ml bottle .There is a smaller size of a  250 ml bottle .  Bengkoang is also known as Jicama ,Mexican yam bean or Mexican turnip . I like this lotion . 

I don't have to buy another hand lotion . The lotion is light  and absorps  into the skin very quickly .

 Bengkoang  has been used by the Javanese royal family or Keraton to make the skin softer and fairer. Citra has been around for 30 years. It is one of the many products from Unilever Indonesia . There are many variants of this lotion  .The ones available at Guardian are the  Pearly white , the lasting white uv and the night whitening.  After this I will try the Pearly white lotion  instead as  there is a sale going on until July . The normal price of this lotion is RM 13.90.

Beesline Whitening lifting Night cream

This is a night cream I bought when I went to Mecca. I bought it from  Al Halwani pharmacy a the Abraj Al Bait   tower near the Haram Mosque . Like my father who loves to look around the markets , I have a weakness for pharmacies. Beesline as it's name uses apitheraphy or bees products  in their skin care products. They have been around for 20 years.     There is a sweet story about how this  company started . They have a day cream and a cleanser but I bought the night cream . It is in a 50 ml jar   with a golden top .

The colour of this  cream is pale yellow . It is not light cream . It is also for whitening ,lifting  and  to prevent wrinkles  . They use an innovative formula called LumiMax .  After nearly a month of using this night cream , my skin looks good.  The blemishes and dents are still there . I use Mario Badescu drying cream to fade the blemishes  . I have two to three pimples and I never thought of using the night cream until one day. 

Products with natural products like this are good to  diminish pimples. The pimples have receded . There's only spots to take care of.  This cream is formulated without   parabens, hydroquinone,kojic acid and other harsh ingredients. This product is from Lebanon and it is available at a few middle east countries  such as Saudi and UAE among others.  I like this night cream . There are other creams using bees products like bees venom which are available in Malaysia that I would like to try  . Nita Cosmetics matte lipstick in Sipadan

I was browsing at  Fashion Valet's website  for a blue top when I stumbled upon this lipstick . It is from Nita Cosmetics. The colour is Sipadan . A dark colour . A few days later I ordered the lipstick from their website. It is a lightweight , creamy lipstick which glides on your lips with  a smooth , satiny feel according to the lipstick  box . It came with a turquoise  box with an Innershine drink.  

I like this colour  . It is a maroon colour  and the texture is  not too  creamy . This is not a noir colour or gothic which sometimes I like to experiment . This lipstick  can be used daily . They have a range of nice colours .  They also have another variant of the liquid matte lipstick .
 This is a local company   . I hope they will   come out with products for the eyes perhaps  . The lipstick case is black with gold letterings.

Marhaba Almond oil

I don't go to Jalan Masjid India  as I often  as  I did before. So the last time we went ,my husband and I went to the City  One mall. We opened a food stall there some years ago. Actually it was nine years ago. We went to a Pakistani shop at the  ground floor. This shop is at the opposite of a salon . I bought an almond oil from Marhaba which is from Pakistan . I have used many almond oil from different countries . I love almond oil.

It can be used for the face,body and hair. I had one very stubborn pimple to get rid off. It was a cystic pimple . I tried Oxy 10, Nexcare acne patches , Cosmoderm tea tree oil cleanser and toner and Mario Badescu drying cream. It comes to head when I applied Oxy 10. Then I bought Jamu Jelita Pearl White Putih  Mulus so that I can dry the pimple from within. After 15 days the pimple has flattened  to a dark spot. I have the Aiken toner around. I am into the look out for a faster way to eliminate large pimples.

D'Herb's Aura Pesona Bintang two way cake powder

Since I use Deherb's foundation cream , I decided to buy their  face powder in the brown case. The powder comes in two colours , natural and mocha. I chose natural . The colour is beige but if you swatch it on your hand it  is quite yellow. It is suitable for medium to fair skin. I used it when I went to my nephew's dinner last two weeks. This powder does make you look flawless and smooth. More if you use it with the Diamond foundation.

Vatika Almond enriched hair oil

This is a hair oil my mother  bought in Madinah. I have not gone to Haniffa store near Jalan Masjid India to see whether this hair oil is available there . This oil contains the extract of almond , coconut and sesame oil  . It's formulation helps to soften , moisturize and condition the hair . This is for rough and dull hair because of colouring and hard combing .

I use this oil twice or once a week. It is good. I am all into oiling my hair . I have long hair now nearly until the back of of my body. Today I have two large pimples . One has dried and another big one is near my chin.  Perhaps it is because  I mix different creams , stress or coffee. 

This hair oil is in a 300 ml bottle . It will expire in 2018 so I have a  year to finish it. The price of this hair oil is SAR 12.00. 

Mario Badescu Drying cream

Mario Badescu's products  are one of the products I wanted to buy for sometime  . When I had the large pimple I went to the  Sephora nearby but it was out of stock, Later I ordered it  online. It comes in a 14 grm jar .It has a medicinal smell. The texture is very soft and it expires after one year .This product is very good. I have a reddish pimple coming out so I used this cream. It dried after 4 days .   I also used this cream on my blemishes. The blemishes are dissapearing.

The price of this drying crean is RM 70. It is available at Sephora outlets or via their online store.

Chanel Rouge Velvet Allure in 34 La Raffinee

When we went to Mecca to perform Umrah , my sister Yatie made a surprise visit . So she came with Nas and the children. We were happy to see them.   My sister gave me this lipstick from Chanel  . You need to press the gold top and the lipstick will come out . This is another  beautiful nude colour lipstick . It's more towards a pink mauve colour  . It has a 18 months expiry time so I have some time to play with this lipstick . I am not sure about the price . It could be around RM 102 or slightly more. 

Pure Skin Papaya cream

Last month my parents and I went to Madinah and Mecca to perform Umrah. My dear sisters sponsored the three of us. We stayed in my brother's house in Madinah. His house is near the Kiblatain mosque. My father likes to go to  the markets and sundry shops . Near to  a market is a spice shop . They have a small mill if you wish to mix your spices. The shop is called Mawarni. Mawar is rose in Malay. I bought a Vatika hair oil and a face cream.

This face cream is an exfoliating face cream . Some of the natural ingredients are Carica papaya enzyme ,black cumin or Habatus sauda and shea butter. You need to use a generous amount of this cream on the face and massage the area. I am happy with this cream. I came to Madinah with a large pimple. So far after 24 days my pimple is gone . There are no more pimples appearing, and  I am happy for that.
This cream is made by Pure Skin International Company in Markina City Phillipines. It is specially made for Najmat Al Mufeedh Trading Est .It is in 50 grm plastic jar . Some of blemishes on my face are gone . Perhaps it's time to go for a facial.       The price of this cream is SAR 15.00.

Now Avocado oil

I bought this oil because my mother wanted avocado oil  to make a hair oil . My mother has  long hair after she is  70 years old . Now she is really into oiling her hair . I need to use henna again  . We needed some olive oil  , almond oil, coconut oil and avocado oil to make the hair oil.
There is a recipe  from the  Mingguan Wanita magazine. Avocado is good for aging skin so  I read . Then I made a face oil using 40 ml of Avocado oil with 10 drops each of Frankincence and Patchouli oil. I did not buy more essential oil because I don't know when I will be bored with face oil. Should I buy  a ready made face oil or buy more  essential oils  and experiment  ?  I have used the oil for my hair . I bought this oil from Renee's cottage at Lelong.com . The price is RM 36.00.

Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation

As I have written before , my niece wanted to look at Nars products. She was looking at the eye shadows.  The sales assistant suggested   their new foundation . The All Day Luminous Weightless foundation. I was matched with Santa Fe and Fiji. 

So Fiji  was the colour. This is lighter and more yellow  than Syracuse. This foundation is a gift from my sisters Nas and Yatie. You need to shake the glass bottle before you use the foundation. At the back of the box it was  suggested that you use one pump  on your palm .And then you warm the foundation  and spread the foundation with your fingers. The colour is beautiful.I like this foundation, This is my second foundation from Nars. I have not bought any of their makeup products yet. Nars has opened their stores in KLCC and Mid Valley . I wonder when they will open their new store near One Utama. The price of this foundation is RM 180 at the Pavillion store.

Etude House sheet masks

My sister Nas , my niece and me went to Pavillion when she came back. My niece Maryam wanted to check out the Nars shop there. Before that we went to to Etude stand alone counter .  We bought a few sheet masks. They were on sale. 

 I bought tea tree and damask rose. These masks are daily low irritant masks.  The tea tea mask keeps the skin feeling fresh and moisturized .  While the damask rose mask contain rose extract and Niacinamide , a skin whitening agent . It keeps the skin moisturized for long hours. You will have to apply toner after cleaning the face.  Remove the mask from the pouch and place the mask to fit eye and mouth area. Remove mask after 10-20 minutes. I like both these masks.  Etude is a Korean company . There is one in One Utama . The price of these masks during sale is RM 25 for 5 pcs of masks. 

Diorific lipstick in No 23 Diorella

My sister Sadd gave me this lipstick when she came back from Dubai . My other sisters Yatie and Nas   made a surprise short visit . I have used Diorific lipsticks before so this is a wondeful gift. The colour is nice . It is a rosy colour . I have been putting on different lipsticks daily and my lips are getting darker .I put on  some lip balm to use as my lips are getting drier as well . As for the Diorific lipstick the colour is beautiful. 

When I had a proper  job years ago,the first lipstick I bought was from Dior . It was a pink lipstick . I was into pink when I was younger . There is a darker lipstick from this range . I wonder if I should buy  it he he he . The price of this lipstick is RM 135.00 . You can find Dior makeup  at most major shopping malls and at Sephora.  There is one near my house . Maybe I will go there next week . 

Adania Olive Green Australian clay

I found Adania skincare when I went to Metro Jaya at the  Curve Mutiara Damansara .  This is an olive green clay for acne prone and oily skin like mine  . It comes in thick glass jar with 70 grms of the product.  I have used this mask for some time . This clay has no odour . It is suggested that you add purified water to 1 tablespoon of clay and mix it into a paste . I think 1/2 of tablespoon will suffice. I have used half of the  clay so maybe I  will buy another jar when I finish this mask.

 I apply  this mask on my face and leave it for 20 minutes and let  it dry . Then I use a muslin cloth , wet it and remove the mask . You can do without a muslin cloth .  Adania skincare is manufactured by Amaryliss Wellness . They have a natural skincare with a cleanser , toner and a face oil . There are also shampoo ,soap bar and shower gel . They also have a spa cabin at their store at the Metro Jaya store. I think they have a spa in Kuala Lumpur if I am not mistaken . Jamu Jelita Pearl White Pinky Plus

Since I am a fan of Jamu Jelita beauty drink . I decided to buy their new beauty drink. This is their Pearl white Pinky plus . This is mixture of strawberry juice , collagen , apple stemcell , astaxhanthin and vitamin C.  It is a delicious drink . The drink is for whitening , elasticity, tightening   and anti aging among others. It has a strawbery taste and a pleasure to drink . 

It is in a 1000 grm plastic jar .  It comes with a shaker . The best time to consume this drink is 15 minutes before breakfast  and before you go to bed. You need to add 1 spoon of the beauty powder to 150 ml of water in the shaker . Garnier Micellar Cleansing water

Today  is the third day of the new year. Welcome to 2017.  I have bought a new micellar water to remove  my makeup . This micellar water is from Garnier . Many readers have compared this micellar water to Bioderma which costs about RM 120.00. This makeup remover is great . It is gentle enough. It comes in a 400 ml plastic bottle which is for 200 uses.This micellar water has no perfume and it is  suitable for sensitive skin. There is another one in blue . 

My sisters Yati and Nasriah came back with their family  for a short vacation . They have gone back to Dubai and Riyadh yesterday .  InshaAllah , if god willing I will meet them again  in February . The normal price of this micellar water is RM 29.90  .
