Lipidol cleansing body oil

I've seen Lipidol products at Guardian Pharmacy. One day , a helpful  sales assistant talked me into buying one of the products. I chose the cleansing body oil  . I found out later that  Lipidol is produced by the same company which made Bio Oil. Apart from the cleansing body oil, there are  few other products such as face oil .
The cleansing body oil will turn into emulsion when touched with water . I  love the smell of this oil . It has a sharp lime scent which  I love  . I have finished the shower oil .   All Lipidol products are sold at the same price which is RM 24.90 at Guardian pharmacy.

Neal's Yard Frankincense essential oil

Frankincense

I am still into making face oil .  I find it relaxing to make face oil . It is very easy to do.  I bought a Frankincense essential oil from Neal's Yard.  Neal Yard's products are available at Isetan One Utama and  Isetan KLCC . It is in a 10 ml cobalt bottle . The expiry date of this oil  is one year from opening date.  Frankinsence essential oil is  expensive . I just need to use a few drops .  I have not use it on a burner .

 I like the aroma . Some of Frankincense benefits are for acne , aging , scars , oiliness and elasticity . It also promotes calmness , for joint pain , athma ,  arthritis  , coughs and cold among others.  I made the  face oil using  20 ml almond oil and  20 ml Rosehip oil. Then I add  10 drops each of Frankincense  essential oil and Patchouli essential oil.  I am into my second bottle . I use it at night . I find that my face looks better . The dents are getting smaller .  They have not disappeared . Inshaallah it will disappear one day. The price of the Frankincense essential  oil is RM 154.00.

Ayla Myra Mixed serum

I have some scars which bugged me for some time. I bought some serum from Ayla Myra. It is a local  company. The serums I bought are the purifying /scar  serum for acne and the scar. Another serum is  the stemcell peptide  serum which is  more for deeper scars . Like the dents that I have. There are 10 bottles in a box . Five  of each serum . It comes in a bright pink box. 

These two serums are among the most popular serums. The stemcell serum is formulated with Swiss apple stem cell extract ,a blend of amino acid and two different peptides. I prefer the stemcell serum.  The serum bottle is  in a 3.5 ml  bottle and you are supposed to use it 3 times. A box would last 15 days. I used it more than that. I find that the stemcell serum worked . I can see that my scars has lessened.Two boxes would  help even more. The people at Ayla Myra suggested  to use the serum for about two months or more . Soap Cellar

Sometime in November last year, I thought of making my own face cream. I have a chunk of beeswax that I don't use. I read that beeswax does not expire . Then I realized that  I need to have a Halal preservative if I do use water in the cream.

So I decided to make face oil instead but I wanted a 60 ml glass dropper bottle. I searched the net for some local vendors. There are some . I found Soap cellar a company based in Penang. I found the 50 ml bottle to my delight . The company has a store in Tanjung Bunga . I also  bought almond oil and  red rose tea. This company also sells equipment and raw material   to make body or face cream. They have borage oil if you are interested. Bedak Harum Nasila

This is another traditional skincare product which is still used until this day. It is a face powder which is made from a stone found in the ocean. It is widely used in the Northern states of peninsular Malaysia.

My mother said she has used this powder when she was young.  That would be more than 50 years ago. This powder could  help with rashes,  blackheads, pigmentation, pimples and to help  smoothen the face. You can use it at night or after you wash your face. Most of the users  are happy with this powder. It could be used as a daily face powder.

This powder comes in a circular chunk with a puff.  It has a nice fragrance. Whenever I used this powder I would get a breakout  So I would use this powder sparingly. You can find this powder at most Jamu shops. The  price of this powder is RM 8.00.

Cosmoderm makeup remover

The reason I bought this makeup remover is that it  can   eliminate  oil seed.  I have one or two oil seeds  on my face.  I think this is important to consider  when you use  a vitamin E cream or oil . You have to moisten a cotton pad before you add the makeup remover. I bought this  remover when I went to Bangi Gateway.  Some selected  pharmacies  carry all Cosmoderm products .
At the moment ,  I don't really want to change skin care products  . I have enlarged pores , dents and fine lines. This has to change .  The price of  Cosmoderm makeup remover is  RM 16.90. To all my readers Happy New Year .

 

Simple Toner

 My mother is using a Simple  moisturizer . I bought their  toner because it has no alcohol. It is soothing yes but I prefer something much  stronger . I have nearly finished the 200 ml bottle . The product is okay . I need a stronger toner ,so I went back to the Aiken toner which has sallicylic acid  in it .  I bought another cosmoderm vitamin E cream . At the moment I have made another face oil. I have no breakouts so I am quite relieved . We are at the end of the year . We will celebrate Maulud Rasul in a few days . Insha Allah.
