Ratus Dedes

My parents came back last night . They brought me some wonderful gifts from my sister Sadd. It was kind of her to buy some v-spa items which I have wanted for some time. A few months ago , I was into  v-spa items or Tangas in Malay. I blog walked a lot until I reach this website called Ratus Dedes from Solo . They sell some wonderful incense for the hair , clothes and also could be used as v-spa.  The products also are from the Wasiat Keraton Surakarta range if I am not mistaken . Another product which has long been my mind is the Tungku Ratus  Kuningan or Tungku ratus. It is like closed  incense burner but is can be opened. It has a handle which can be taken out . This is not unlike the copper incense burner my mother had for some time . The lid is gone  .  So ,when my sister bought for me  this item  it  made me very happy. I have wanted to buy this burner ever since I saw it in a Mustika Ratu advertisement and when I saw  it used to steam the hair  in some Indian movies at home. She also bought for me the incense called Ratus Melati   Kraton or Jasmine  , Ratus Cendana Kraton and Ratus Dedes along with charcoal brickets.   I love the smell of the Ratus Cendana or Sandalwood. As my parents are away , I started to cook for my husband and myself .  I will cook roast chicken again this evening with some  aubergines. I made asam pedas  with sting ray fish last night. The night before was beef cooked in coconut milk and tomatoes. Most of the recipes are from the internet , one  recipe is from my mother and some from  my husband .  As  I don't usually cook , it takes time to prepare the dishes  so I always cook mostly  two dishes at a time. I like making masak lemak or dishes  with coconut milk which is  not very good for the waist line.

Elianto makeup brushes

I needed some eye shader brushes , so I went  to Elianto to get some . There is a 70% sale , so I got a set of brushes  for RM 29.00 after a 59% off . I am happy with these new brushes . I bought a set of brushes a long time ago. One of the shader brushes got broken off. 

Last night my father bought lamb and chicken and my mother cooked up a feast for us siblings who are in KL , GG and Taei that is. They came with their family and my mother made nasi beryani, lamb tomato, salad , chicken and some chutney. My parents will be going to Jakarta on the 18th and will be there for 10 days.

Jerslin oil

When my mother came back from Penang , she brought  back  Jerslin oil . My aunties were selling these oil back in Kedah. The oil is made of Nigella sativa or Habatusauda, olive oil, sesame oil and sunflower and tongkat ali  according to their website.The oil is thick and has a fruity , nice smell. The sizes are  20 ml , 40 ml  and 50 ml and a 30 ml refill bottle. It is said to cure many ailments including  fever , insomnia,athma , gastric  to name a few. Apart from the oil , the company had produced bedak sejuk or cool powder and medicated soap. I bought the 20 ml one for the burn on my hand . It does help with  burn but  I suggest to buy the 50 ml one as the 20 ml one will last about one week for a frequent user like me  The oil  can smoothen the skin and  to remove dark circles under the eyes . My mother had sold about 10 bottles of the Jerslin oil and had ordered another 11 bottles.   The 20 ml bottle costs RM 25.90 , while the 50 ml one is RM 45.00. Olay beauty fluid

I saw some photos of myself a few years back and I thought I looked quite good. I thought of Olay beauty fluid or lotion.  The first and famous  Olay product .  So I went to buy one 150 ml bottle. The lotion sinks into the skin very fast.  I have been using it for about 2 weeks now .  I still have the whitening one .   A lot of reviewers said  that their mother and grandmother had  used  this lotion  most of their adult life and have few wrinkles. I have a   deep line under my eyes and another one cropping out.  I have not used the ROC eye cream much , I don't see much improvement . The price for the Olay  lotion is RM 33.00 at Tesco.  Nowadays I have some scars , burnt my right hand.
