Jingga is back and a week of illnesess

Jingga finally came back last Thursday. I called out for him and he answered back. He looked quite week . I carried him into the house  and fed him a lot of fish. Ibu Kuntum was there and she wanted to go in and take a look at my cat. I had to make a hard decision. Next time no more feeding to the cats outside . I will keep food

inside. I have to give away the mother and the kittens if I want Jingga at home. So no more feeding any food to pregnant mothers.  Will I ever learn ?

I made some leek soup two days ago. I could not eat it anymore because I felt very hungry. My mother who 

accompanied me also did not finish the soup. My father had coughs and he was coughing very hard until his 

left eye became  red. The doctor at UMMC said that it is because the pressure when he coughs. 

He went to the hospital and then  to the SJMC. Today he felt bloated and is at the doctor.  My husband too had cold and headache and got alright after drinking some grapefruit juice. Mal is coughing nocturnally .Today I have a headache and phlegm.  I bought some medicine at the pharmacy. My mother did not feel ill . I will be going somewhere in the middle of next month with my parents.

 

The Kittens and my nephew

Jingga came into the house this evening. He was yeowling  ,When he saw Ibu Kuntum and I , he ran off. I went to give him a fish for him under the car. He looks well fed. Alhamdulillah.. As for the kittens I thought of giving them away . This is the second time I tried to  do so . When I looked into their tiny eyes , I could not do it.  Jingga looked well .So maybe someone liked to take him in until  ... I never thought he would run away if another cat comes in. I did not think that the Siamese cat could be so fierce and had plans to bring her kittens to the house.

There are six kittens . One a siamese cat like Ibu, an all black cat  which I always wanted . Both have only one eye. The other kittens are like Awang. Tabby cats with black stripes. The most intelligent kitten is the siamese one eyed kitten which I will call Allegro. The black cat I will call Allegra or Zorro depending on the gender. I ran after Jingga with my mother and he ran into the neighbour's house refusing to come to me. Perhaps he does not want to be with me at all.

My nephew is warded at the Damansara Specialist hospital. He is there for three days.I feel sad for him . My father is also sick . I think I will visit the doctor one of these days too. My nephew Hamzah has diahrrhea. I hope he will be well soon.

Jingga ran away

My cat Jingga ran away last Wednesday night. I thought he will come back. On Thursday he ran as I wanted to

catch him. He is not back since then. My mother said it was because of  Kuntum and the kittens. I feel very sad

I thought he will  not be around . Last night I saw him under the neighbour's car . I gave him a piece of fried fish. Today  I saw him again but I could not reach out for him . His mouth is black I think it is because he had eaten

some stones.

I felt sad that he is afraid to bome back home.  Today we made some sheperd's pie using mutton . My sister Nas is here with her children.  My brother GG is here with his wife and mother in law. I made some favourite

stand by . AJ's tomato lamb or mutton, some Ayamas chicken and some salad.  I am still waiting for Jingga to come back . 

Ibu kucing or the mother cat

I have a fair share of  the mother cats. Cats which have a litter. The first was Rosa which got run down by a car back in 2006. I felt very sad. Then Eleina Daniela one of her kittens. She gave birth twice until we have to give them them away. Then came two Toms. Now it is Ibu or mother . I like to call her ibu but mother is not appopriate having a mother of your own. I call her Kuntum.  Today she brought her four kittens. She hides them besides the shoe rack. I think she will bring them inside the house if she has the chance. I feed four cats now. Awang , Spicy another pregnant cat , Kuntum and Jingga. I don't know why  Kuntum wants to bring the kittens in. Last time  Tom also brought her kittens in.  

Jingga likes the Blackwood dry cat food and fish . Boiled fish. He does not want to eat any chicken meat. I wonder why . I have read in the net that fish is not good for him.  Kuntum's kittens are about one month old. Once they are bigger I will put them with the other cats behind the house. There is a colony of cats behind the house and they are taken care of a nice lady. She feeds them every morning and evening and would give them

medicine if they are sick.  That is really nice of  her.  My father said that there  should only be one cat at home and he will tolerate only one cat. The cat is Jingga .

My cat Jingga

My cat Jingga is allowed to stay in the house. He is a fussy eater. He does not want to eat chicken anymore nor does he want  to eat  the dry cat food. Now I feed him boiled or raw fish. He does not want to sleep in his bed which I bought. He likes to watch the other cats at the back.  Today he does not want to spend time in the house. Perhaps it's too hot. 

I have knee pain. Last week I have sprained my knee. I went to see an Orthopedic doctor, he told me to reduce my weight and buy some medicine. It's called Vitra sal in powder form. I have to take it once a day. I surfed for 

some  nice recipes to make.  I know that I feel very hungry at night . So now I drink water or eat fruits when I am hunger. On the first day I boiled some carrots and one egg, then slice one onion and eat with some left over 

tuna. The second night carrots, green beans  and onion.  Last night it soto ayam. 

Niqah day

On the 26th February which fell  on the Maulidur Rasul day , was  also the day  my brother  GG got married The aqad nikah or solemnization ceremony was held at   Kg Baru  mosque after Asar  prayers. Both the bride and groom wore white lovely  baju Melayu or Malay wedding dress. Many of our relatives  from both my parent's side  came  to  the wedding day. My brother proclaimed his vows only once. I like the bride's wedding dress  which is  covered with lace.  The trend is white nowadays  and  I think it is  lovely and romantic . I remembered  when the trend was lilac  a few years back. I wore blue on my wedding day.  I will wait  to upload some photos.

And then after the solemnization ceremony we went to  my new  sister in law's house at Jalan Mahadi for a feast or Kenduri on the bride's side. Many people came and it was a  joyous  ocassion.

My brother GG is wedded . After one month of  engagement.  After that we went  to sleep at  the Best Western. The next day  all of us , Nas and her family , my parents, my brother and I   went to another wedding , my sister's Nas 's husband's family.  The whole family wore gold coloured traditional  dresses . Gold lace but the bride and groom wore white too.
Now there are only four of us in the house , if Mal comes back home  there will be five of us .  My brother GG came to visit a day after the wedding with his wife Ti. He looks very happy , I am glad for him. So now we will wait for another feast on the groom side which will be  in July or September.  I do not know what colour will be in season . Perhaps it will be gold or fuschia.
